QA Automation Developer


Description

Precision Design Studios is seeking a Junior Level Automation Developer in the creation and updating of C# scripts.  This position reports to the QA Team Leader.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for creating, updating and executing automated test cases in C# based on supplied requirements against web applications
  • Work with team members in adopting and learning test automation techniques
  • Analyze test results and collaborate with the development team to expedite bug fixes
  • Develop unit, integration, and functional tests
  • Keeps supervisor informed of testing project status and raises issues as necessary
  • Participates in the design, construction, implementation, and support of functionally complex web based software and test cases that meet the business requirements
  • Coordinates and synchronizes activities with the larger team schedule

Position Requirements

  • 2+ years proven development or QA Automation work experience required
  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in business field, computer science, or related discipline strongly preferred
  • Hands-on use of TFS, Jira or similar bug tracking software (Ideal)
  • C# coding skills required
  • Familiarity with testing in multiple web browsers such as Chrome, FireFox, Safari, and Internet Explorer required
  • Experience in .NET, Microsoft Team Foundation Server(TFS), and Microsoft Test Manager(MTM), and knowledge in Jenkins is a plus
  • Strong written and verbal client communication and follow up
  • Works well in multiple projects at once with a high degree of attention to detail
  • Ability to collaborate and thrive in a cross-functional, fast-paced, team environment
  • Understanding in Analyzing Information , General Programming, Software Design, Software Debugging, Documentation, Testing, and Problem Solving
  • Experience with XML, HTML, JS, JQuery, CSS, REST and IE Developer Toolbar is a plus
  • Experience in eCommerce software preferred, but not required
